CORONAVIRUS and SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

CORONAVIRUS and SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING :

As everyone knows Coronavirus has spread out all over the world and everyone is now tired of this lockdown and home quarantine.
On 30th Jan 2020, First patient of COVID - 19 found in India and then to prevent the nation from this virus, our government announced a 14 hour Janta Curfew on 22nd march, 2020. And then where the whole Lockdown series started. The 1st phase of lockdown started on 25th march, 2020 and it was a 21 days lockdown. And then one by one government announced total 5 phases of lockdown till 30th june, 2020. And then it was still going till 8th June, 2020 for some of the red zones.
25th March to 8th June, 2020. Whole 75 days of home quarantine without any social interaction was really a great challenge for we Indians. Especially for the Mumbaikars who were addicted to that regular mumbai local traveling.
It was a very tough task. But we are Indians and we know well how to face the challenge. Even if our government has announced us to follow a social distancing we all are already connected through social media. Everyone got a time to spend on social media engagements and everyone started using social media apps to interact with each other.
It's always said that a true marketer never loose a single chance to attract the customers. Then how can they miss the golden opportunity. During lockdown lots of people were relying on social media engagements. By taking the advantage of this, marketers started focusing and strengthening their social media marketing strategy. Many of the companies arranged free webinars, Live session through various social media platforms like facebook, twitter, instagram on different different topics to attract their audience.
Lot's of people decided to crack some online courses to get some valuable skills. By taking this into the observation various tutorial companies started providing an online course at discounting rates. Some of them also created a groups on whatsapp and facebook to provide the links of their webinar or a demo lecture.
Where many of the people were spending their time on webinars or live sessions, some people especially a younger section were still scrolling down memes on their social media timeline. By considering this meme trend, many of the companies with reputed brands and even non reputed brands started following this meme strategy and generatig an innovative and creative content to attract the customers.
So basically this COVID - 19 Lockdown series was really helpful for those marketers who grabbed the opportunity and applied their social media marketing skills. Because Social media is a vast platform where you can attract the audience with your creative and innovative contents and marketing strategies with no boundary limits and any restrictions. Digital marketing may have some drawbacks but it has thousands of advantages if you know how to use it in a right way. Today, in 21st century still many of the marketers follow brick and mortar systems and these traditional strategies. They don't even try to build up their online existence. But a single virus and these 75 days proved it's importance. The companies already having online existence are quickly drawing the strategies and enjoying it's benifits. This COVID - 19 and lockdown really taught us how it is important to have an existence on social media and overall digital platform.

THE GLOBAL BUSINESS DISTRIBUTION WITHOUT A NY INTERMEDIARY

THE GLOBAL BUSINESS DISTRIBUTION WITHOUT ANY  INTERMEDIARY  Imagine, you are the owner of a global business firm. You want to reach all worldwide customers. Is it possible for you to reach all of them without any middleman? No? Two engineers from America had already made it possible in July 2003. The First Banner Ad Ever  Have you ever heard of banner ads? Not the one which we used to see on public highways or at roadsides but the ads which we always see on the internet like pop up ads arrive when we are surfing through any blog or a youtube video. For instance, a square or a rectangular box containing a picture and a text message like “Jumbo Sale. Upto 80% off.” with a linked text “Buy Now” that redirects you to the page containing the company's offerings. Now-a-days banner ads are so common. But around 25 years ago, an American multinational firm AT&T posted it for the first time in 1994. Let’s see how the first banner ad of AT&T looked like.  The first ever banner ad was of a well known American multinational firm AT&T which was posted on hotwired.  On 27th October, 1994. It was the first paid ad to provide Click-through-rate reports of the customers. It was a rectangular banner or a box containing a text “Have you ever clicked your mouse HER...
